Abraham Clapman believed it essential to support and encourage promising young artistic talent. His family and friends, established this fund as a means to continue that philosophy by assisting young artists in their pursuit toward artistic excellence. Each year, the Fund awards a tuition scholarship to one of MAEF's 25 finalists.  The Fund and prizes are coordinated by the Maryland Artists Equity Foundation.
