Joseph Padgett cared about the Arts and helped many talented young artists, while he was a MAEF board member.

The Joseph Padgett Fund is financed by Joseph's family and friends. Each year, the Fund awards a $500 tuition scholarship to one of MAEF's 25 finalists. 

The Fund and prize are coordinated by the Maryland Artists Equity Foundation.
