Sandy and Jerry Fox were active in the American Craft Movement since 1970. They exhibited jewelry and metal sculpture in many juried shows and were among the first to exhibit at the prestigious Rhinebeck Craft show in New York.
Jerry’s innovative sculptures were accepted by the Renwick Gallery and the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C.
The Foxes always had a supportive feeling towards young artists. They generously contributed annually to MAEF since its first 1985 competition. Jerry continues to do so, in memory of Sandy.
Jerry, who now lives in Florida, is extremely enthusiastic about providing the Sandy Fox Scholarship. He wishes all past and future recipients a bright future in the arts.
