Nannette Clapman Blinchikoff is a sculptor, author, lecturer, and very active in the Maryland visual arts community.

Her sculpture, from cast bronze to cardboard can be found in public and private art collections and has been seen in local, national, and international exhibitions since 1979.

Ms. Blinchikoff’s Business of Art lectures on "How to Promote Your Art Without Losing Your Integrity" are sponsored by universities, art agencies, and organizations.

Her
two books Promoting Fine Art: Baltimore and Maryland (4th edition) and Promoting Fine Art: Washington DC and Northern VA are useful networking tools for artists, art lovers, and art communities. The books have maps of art centers, deal with over 400 art agencies, organizations, and galleries, and help artists promote their art without losing their integrity. Dr. Arnold L. Lehman, Director of the Brooklyn Museum (former Director of the Baltimore Museum of Art), wrote the forewords.

She is a charter member and current president of the Maryland Artists Equity Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded for the purpose of awarding tuition scholarships to high school seniors planning to pursue a college education in the visual arts.
